Radhika Nathwani Juttla and her husband Shindy, the couple behind ‘Radhika and you,’ became the first Asian wedding planners to win Wedding Planner of the Year 2024 at The Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA).
Having been a regional finalist in previous years, Radhika was thrilled to scoop the top spot. She said: “We are delighted to receive this prestigious award which combines feedback from our couples as well as the judges reviewing our work. It is wonderful to know that our couples love what we are doing and we look forward to bringing our special brand of wedding planning to many more.”
With coming up to ten years of experience in the world of events and wedding, the accolade is a testament to the couple’s dedication, creativity and customer care which are in great demand.
Renowned for planning, designing and delivering lavish Indian weddings here and around the world, the couple have built an impressive portfolio.
With a background in corporate event management and marketing, it was attending family weddings that first prompted Radhika to run her own business planning events. From putting on Diwali dinners and dances and other social events in her local community she soon realised how much she loved all things event planning.
Supported by her husband, Shindy, who worked in the music and events industry for many years, the couple have the skills, knowledge, and contacts to tackle the most complex jobs.

Radhika takes care of everything from budget management, finding the perfect wedding venue to liaising with suppliers, designing the look and feel of the wedding and creating mood boards, through to on-the-day logistics and just to name a few of the many areas that are covered. This comprehensive service takes the stress from the wedding couple, leaving them free to enjoy every moment of their special day.
Couples marrying in the UK can also take advantage of the ultimate end-to-end planning package.
The third option is for couples who have planned their wedding but who need someone to take charge of coordinating the events. Radhika doesn’t just turn up on the day with her clipboard, she begins the handover a month beforehand to ensure she has an understanding of everything that is planned and knows exactly what the bride and groom expect. With military precision, a cool head and the ability to think on her feet, Radhika and team ensure everything runs smoothly.
