Sam Burke, however, is not your typical wedding planner. Along with her husband Mark, she also designs, creates, and personalises beautiful props that can be hired for your wedding or special event.
Sam started out up-cycling furniture and making personalised boxes. Over the years, she added more items to her repertoire until today, when she offers a full design service for brides and grooms.
Based on the Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire border, Sam has built an enviable reputation across the region and beyond.

Like all our partners, Sam is a consummate professional keen to ensure that every detail is addressed. It was her can-do attitude and attention to detail that took her from stylist to wedding coordinator.
Brides were reassured when they spoke to Sam about their plans that she could deliver to their exact requirements or even exceed their expectations. Before long, Sam was taking on more of the arrangements, which in turn helped the brides to relax more.
Sam’s prowess as a wedding coordinator and prop designer came into its own just after Covid when she handled all the arrangements and décor for a bride who had been let down by other suppliers going out of business. The bride was so delighted with what Sam achieved that she wrote her a testimonial on her wedding night!
Since then, Sam has received many glowing testimonials from happy brides who say they feel like they have known her for ages, and this is what Sam aims to achieve. As the wedding coordinator, she is one step removed from the bride, her family, and her friends. This means Sam can act as the devil’s advocate. She can challenge her brides, offer an alternative opinion, and reassure them in equal measure.

Sam loves a challenge, whether that is researching the perfect décor for a Persian wedding or blending her designs with items from other suppliers. She loves to continually grow and develop her ideas as she works with different clients in new locations. With some exciting projects and possible overseas travel on the horizon, we can’t wait to see how Samsa May’s continues to flourish.
